Stathis Elio is a professional electric bass and double bass player and teacher.

He studied electric bass in Phillipos Nakas Conservatory in Athens and after that he got his bachelor and master degrees in Jazz Double Bass from the Royal Conservatory of the Hague.

Stathis Elio was lucky to study music with many great bass teachers including Hein van de Geyn, Frans van der Hoeven, Yiotis Kiourtsoglou and others.

His performing experience over the years and his education gave him knowledge of different music styles like Jazz, Funk, Latin, Rock, Pop...
